I've got an exciting lineup for 2024, filled with ambitious plans. I'm all set to revitalize my YouTube channel, consistently share posts and videos on social media, and make a transition into the realm of machine learning engineering. Adding to the thrill, I've set my sights on participating in two international half marathons - the KL Standard Chartered International Marathon in October and the Penang Bridge Run in December. To gear up for these challenges, I've laid out a meticulous plan.

The first phase involves running two 10km marathons in January and March, leading up to my debut half marathon, likely in May. While I missed out on signing up for the KL New Year Marathon, I found a silver lining in an unofficial Avaland Cybersouth Fun Run scheduled a week later on January 6th. It seemed like a better option than skipping a vital step in my preparation. Despite battling a cold, I managed to run continuously at a pace of 7.84 kilometers/hour, completing the run in an impressive 1 hour and 16 minutes. Considering the circumstances, I exceeded my own expectations.

It wasn't all smooth sailing, though. I experienced shivers throughout my body, likely due to the cold. Additionally, my legs started aching after the 4km mark, prompting thoughts of slowing down. Looking ahead to the March marathon, I'm contemplating incorporating walking breaks at the 3km, 6km, and 9km marks to alleviate the pain and build confidence for the half marathon.

Speaking of the March marathon, I'm gearing up for the KL City Day Marathon, which marks my first official timed marathon. The anticipation has me absolutely thrilled, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
